REFUNDS, RETURNS & CANCELLATION OF AGREEMENT

  1. In accordance with relevant healthcare regulations, it is important to note that patient rights are not limited by the information provided in this section.
  2. If you decide to cancel your physical appointment after it has been scheduled, any associated costs, such as administrative fees, may be deducted in addition to any payments due for missing a scheduled appointment.
  3. We are not responsible for any additional costs or damages related to the transportation of medical records or documents to our practice.
  4. No refunds will be entertained for medical services rendered or products supplied.
  5. As per regulation by the Medicines and Related Substances Act of 101 of 1965 and Good Pharmacy Practice in South Africa, no medicines are returnable from patients/customers after the delivery note has been signed and pharmacist and/or delivery personnel has left the delivery address or if the product has been collected. Neither shall the medicine(s) be exchanged for credit nor different product(s).

    Note: To avoid return of medicines that you as a patient/customer had ordered, please cross-check the medicines on delivery to your address before the delivery personnel leaves your premises or on collection. We shall only accept medicines for disposal and destruction of medicines that the patients/customers may want to get rid of. Such medicines shall be managed as per the applicable regulations for destruction of medicines.

  6. To ensure smooth scheduling and avoid any inconvenience, kindly notify us of any appointment cancellations at least 48 hours before your scheduled booking. Failure to provide timely notice of cancellation will result in responsibility for payment related to the reserved time slots. Your cooperation in adhering to this policy is greatly appreciated.
  7. Medical services already provided are eligible for a refund once they have been performed.
  8. Cancellation of any other medical service or consultation, once confirmed, may incur a standard cancellation fee of 5%. However, this fee will not apply if the cancellation is requested within 48 hours of the scheduled service. The cancellation fee will be the responsibility of the patient.
  9. If an order is canceled while in transit, the patient will be responsible for a standard cancellation fee of 5%, as well as any additional transit-related costs incurred by our medical practice. For all other service cancellations after confirmation, a standard 5% cancellation fee will apply. Please note that in the case of specialized medical procedures, additional charges may apply based on the progress of the procedure and the cost of any materials or equipment procured.
  10. All services not covered by healthcare regulations may be subject to a 10% handling fee upon cancellation. This fee will be deducted from the amount due and is mandatory. It applies to all returned items or services not covered by healthcare regulations.

Please Note: Consumable goods purchased from our website, such as medications or medical supplies, cannot be returned due to health and safety regulations. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
